The Bondstars Christmas Party 2011 Pinewood Studios, London, England - Sunday November 14th 2010   On Sunday 14th November 2010, Pinewood Studios played host to the Bondstars 2010 Christmas Party. The weather was a little drizzly, but did nothing to dampen the fun of the day!     Alec Mills, Terry Ackland-Snow, Keith Hamshere, Paul Weston and Jeremy Bulloch     160 fans and Bond alumnim, from both sides of the camera, gathered at the world famous studio for an informal, fun packed day which incorporated refreshments on arrival; a packed memorabilia and signing room; a loop of rare James Bond documentaries and royal premiere programmes running on the big screen in the studio's ballroom. Goldfinger Avenue Pinewood's Underwater Stage The studio tour included a visit to the exciting underwater U-Stage and several classic Bond film locations around the lot after which a delicious buffet lunch was served in Pinewood's beatiful ballroom, the James Bond round-table quiz followed hosted by the lovely Jenny Hanley. Alec Mills (Director of Photography) Terry Ackland-Snow (Art Director) It was now time to remember our Bond friends who had passed away in the last year by way of a video tribute to their achievements followed by some personal reminiscenses from Paul Weston (Bond Stunt co-ordinator), Terry Ackland-Snow (Bond Art Director) and Alec Mills (Bond Director of Photography).   Shane Rimmer discussing his new autobiography with by Gareth Owen   Following afternoon cream tea an on-stage interview with 3-time Bond film actor Shane Rimmer was held (who was launching his exciting new autobiography - From Thunderbirds to Pterodactyls). Our resident quiz-mistress Jenny Hanley The Meyer Twins (Mischka and Grischka in Octopussy)   The winners - with an astonishing score of 38 out of 40 - were announced receiving a bag of Bond goodies and a free raffle was drawn with the top prize of a Quantum of Solace Scalextric set.   Honor Blackman Maryam d'Abo   As has become the tradition with our events, it was a very informal day where people had plenty of time to chat with friends old and new, a chance to gather some autographs from guests and a rare opportunity to enjoy the surrounds of Pinewood, which is never open to the public.   Christopher Muncke Kate & Eunice Gayson Another event over and all our friends left with a party bag and hopefully some great memories of another wonderful day at Pinewood.
