Biography

Thomas Wheatley made his small screen acting debut in 1985's Honest, Decent And True which was swiftly followed by The Singing Detective.

It was then he was spotted by Eon's casting director, and offered the part of Saunders in The Living Daylights - a stickler for proceedure, he alas came to a shattering end in the film.

A mixture of television and film followed: Comic Strip Presents: Mr Jolly Lives Next Door, Harry’s Kingdom, First and Last, A Perfect Hero, Selling Hitler, Bambino Mio, Half the Picture, Aquila, The Colour of Justice, Second Sight, Fields of Gold, Justifying War and The Murder Room, along with episodes of Heartbeat, Between the Lines, Taggart, Dangerfield, Foyle’s War and Auf Wiedersehen Pet.
