Biography

A prolific stuntman and coordinator, Rocky has more than 50 years experience in the industry - and claims to be the oldest working stuntman in the business.

Rocky came into the business through assisting his father, acclaimed stuntman Larry Taylor, and his first film was Dr No in 1962. It led to him working on a dozen Bond films (through to Skyfall) and he can claim to be the only stuntman to double for two Bonds in same year! It was 1983 and he stood in for Roger Moore in Octopussy & Sean Connery in Never Say Never Again in various action sequences.

His career has been across both TV and film, and covers periods on Doctor Who from 1963 to 2005, The Avengers, The Sweeney, A Bridge Too Far, The Wild Geese, Superman, An American Werewolf in London, Brideshead Revisited, My Beautiful Launderette, Death Wish 3, Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade, Robin Hood Prince Of Thieves, Evita, Titanic, The Mummy Returns, The Phantom Of The Opera, The DaVinci Code, The History Boys, Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Parts 1 & 2, Johnny English Reborn, Wrath Of The Titans, World War Z, The Legend of Tarzan and the upcoming Angel Has Fallen and Spider-Man Far From Home to name but a few!!

Rocky has worked with directors ranging from Steven Spielberg, to James Cameron, Kenneth Branagh, Sam Mendes, Guy Ritchie, Ron Howard, Alan Parker, Blake Edwards, John Landis and even Michael Winner.
