Biography Peter Fontaine has been an actor for over 60 years: stage, television and film.
His early film roles incorporate Look Before You Love, The Third Man and The Battle Of The River Plate. In the 1950s he alternated between the USA and UK in theatre, and in the '60s appeared in a number of hugely successful British tv shows from The Avengers, to The Saint, The Edgar Wallace Mystery Theatre, Z Cars and Dixon of Dock Green.
In the 1970s, he appeared in The Protectors, The Liver Birds, Confessions of a Window Cleaner, Secret Army and SOS Titanic.
In 1981 his old friend Roger Moore suggested him for a role in For Your Eyes Only, in the exciting opening sequence on board the St George's spy ship as the Captain.
Peter continues to work into his 90s and has just as much enthusiasm as when he started seven decades ago!
