On 10th November 2019, join us at Pinewood Studios to celebrate the publication of Oscar winning Special Effects supervisor, and Bond film veteran, John Richardson’s lavishly illustrated career memoir - Making Movie Magic.


In addition, we will be celebrating the 30th anniversary of Licence To Kill with a restored 4k screening in the luxurious John Barry theatre, a film which John has a particularly soft spot for in that he met his wife Rosie on set.

  • We hope to add more guests in the near future.
  • If you wish to attend this event you will need to register for tickets. Registration will open via this page and will close at 5:00pm (UK Time) on Monday 29th July.

  • To give everyone a fair chance of attending we will be allocating tickets randomly. If you register on the 17th July or 29th July you will have the same chance of getting tickets as everyone else. Multiple registrations will be voided.

    If you are successfully allocated tickets we will contact you on Wednesday 31st July 2019 with payment information. Please do not contact us before this date asking if you have been allocated tickets.

  • The ticket price will be approximately £140.00 (A £7.00 booking fee will also apply for PayPal transactions). Cheque and bank transfer payments will not incur a booking fee.

  • If you do not recieve an email then you will be placed on our waiting list and will be offered tickets should they become available.

  • Pinewood is a working studio and is never open to the public. Upon arrival you must make your way directly to the event parking. Anyone found in a restricted area of the studio will be asked to leave with no refunds given and barred from future Bondstars events.

  • The event content \ guest attendance may change without notice. All guests appear subject work, health and personal commitments.

  • Some of our special guests will be happy to sign your event programme for free. This is the only item they will sign and is due to several attendees abusing the 2 item rule at previous events. Any attendees found to be ignoring this rule will be asked to leave and barred from attending future Bondstars events.

  • Some of our guests will be charging for their autographs (including your event programme), these will be confirmed closer to the event date. There is no limit on items for guests who charge for their autograph.

  • Tickets are refundable up to one month prior to the event (10th October) after which a refund can only be made if the tickets can be re-sold  Due to Pinewood's strict security policies, tickets can only be re-sold by Bondstars, anyone found selling tickets on 3rd party websites will have their tickets voided (with no refund) and barred from future Bondstars events.

  • Video cameras are forbidden at our events, digital \ still cameras are permitted, anyone found taking photographs in a restricted area of the studio will be asked to leave with no refunds given and barred from future Bondstars events.

  • The discounted entry to the Bond In Motion exhibition will be valid from the 22nd June - 25th June - in person bookings only. The discounted ticket price will be £9.50 (Normal price - £14.50).
