|   On Sunday 20th September, guests arrived to be greeted by a replica Citroen 2 CV outside Heatherden Hall at Pinewood, and were welcomed for early morning tea, coffee and biscuits whilst a number of memorabilia stalls were open for business.    Soon after 10.30am, John Glen was flanked by key members of his crew to introduce his first James Bond film as director, For Your Eyes Only, and chatted about the exciting opportunity Cubby Broccoli offered him when he asked "What would you say to directing the next Bond film?"

In the lobby of the John Barry Theatre they, together with John and the other members of cast and crew who sneaked out quietly, shared a glass of Bollinger before our big surprise was revealed as the end titles rolled ... on walked James Bond himself, to riotous applause.

                | Willy Bognor, Sir Roger and Lady Moore |    A delicious two-course Sunday lunch was served in the Pinewood Ballroom, following which John Glen and Sir Roger took to the stage to share a few memories and tales of working together - and they became particularly animated discussing Tula, the first transsexual Bond girl. "At what point did you realise?" the mischievous Sir Roger asked John Glen.

                | John Glen | Sir Roger Moore |    Having braved four hours of traffic jams William P. Cartlidge joined us, but unfortunately Julian Glover (having been stuck in the same jam, but less successfully) wasn't able to reach us in time and sent his abject apologies.   Later in the afternoon Dave Worrall lead a tour through the Pinewood gardens before returning for the grand final of our Mastermind quiz, with some terrific prizes supplied by Eon Productions. Another Q&A session (with film clips) followed with art director Alan Tomkins, ski-photographer Willy Bogner (who had flown in especially for the event) and actors William Hoyland and Stephan Kalipha who both reminisced about their death scenes in the movie!
